Lodgings

STAYIN’ AT THE SOU’WESTER

We are so excited for our wedding weekend in October, and excited to celebrate with you at one of our favorite places.

The Sou’wester is a historic resort featuring renovated vintage travel trailers and buses, along with lodge suites and several beach cabins. Multiple wedding events will be held on the Sou’wester grounds, and the wedding ceremony and reception are just five minutes away.

Each of the trailers, suites, and cabins are unique, so if you have space or accessibility preferences, some of these options may be better than others. To book, click the link in the unit name and enter promo code WEDDING.

Staying longer than two nights? Enjoy 30% off with our shoulder days discount. The stay should be in the same room for the duration of the reservation to receive the discount. The Sou’wester will manually add the discount to any reservations that are extended; you will not see it right away.

VINTAGE TRAILERS

These trailers are set aside for our wedding guests during both nights of the event. If you can only stay for one night, or if these are already booked by other guests, there are many other delightful trailers at the Sou’Wester. Please book other trailers with the same code, WEDDING, so we can keep track of guests.

Although many of these have bathrooms, they can sometimes be tight spaces with limited amenities. There are additional bathrooms with spacious showers available in the nearby pavilion.

OTHER OPTIONS

Although we are looking forward to hanging out with everyone at the Sou’Wester, we understand if circumstances may require other plans. There are several other options nearby that may also be a good choice:

Commodore Hotel Astoria, OR (twenty minutes from Seaview, WA)
The Commodore is a hip wallet-friendly pick that might work if you want to drive in a day early, stay in Astoria Thursday night, putter around town, and then show up at the Sou’wester Friday afternoon, refreshed and ready for the weekend’s events.

Seaview Cottages Seaview, WA
These are cute little budget-friendly cottages less than a five minute walk from the Sou’wester. A great option if you want to stay offsite but still participate in the festivities on the grounds!

The Shelburne Hotel Seaview, WA
Built in 1896, The Shelburne Hotel is the longest continuously operating hotel in Washington State, and we have heard nothing but good things about it.

Snow Peak Campfield Long Beach, WA
We haven’t stayed at this luxe campground from Japanese outdoor gear brand Snow Peak, but it is right next door to the wedding venue. They have a variety of fancy-schmancy camping options.
